TOURNAMENTINFORMATION:

We at Pine Ridge Golf Club know just how expensive golf can be. That’s why we have
decided to launch a special junior tournament designed to give back to young golfers in our community. This inaugural tournament will offer $10,000 in real prizes (cash and gift cards) to help offset some of the cost to golf!
We’re excited to invite your talented 13-18 year old players (boys and girls) to compete
at Pine Ridge Golf Club in Motley, MN on Sunday, August 16, 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to experience what it feels like to compete like tour pros for real prizes while gaining valuable competitive experience in a fun, supportive environment.
Here are the key details:
• Boys and girls compete together in a fun, inclusive format.
• Two age divisions:
• 13-15 years old: 9-hole competition
• 16-18 years old: 18-hole competition (Players must be the specified age on
tournament day.)
• Maximum field: 100 players total. 13-15 division: 30 players max. 16-18 division: 70
players max.
• Prize structure: Every player who competes will take home at least $50 in prizes based on their finishing placement, with first place in each division winning $1,000 each! Importantly, this is fully compliant with the Rules of Amateur Status (governed by the USGA): juniors can legally accept cash prizes up to and including $1,000 per competition in scratch events without jeopardizing their amateur status.
• Entry fee: Just $50 per player
• Registration: Open to the first 30 players in the 13-15 division and the first 70 players in the 16-18 division. A wait list is in place for both divisions. Players on the wait list are encouraged to attend the tournament, as they will have the opportunity to fill any tee times that become available due to withdrawals or no-shows.
• Family-friendly atmosphere: Parents and family are strongly encouraged to follow their children on the course for no charge and cheer them on.
• Food & refreshments: Water provided for competitors. Other food and drink available for purchase throughout the day to keep everyone fueled.
• Start times: Tee times for the 13-15 division will start at 10am on hole 10. Tee times for the 16-18 division will start at 10:30am on hole 1. Participants’ starting times will be emailed once pairings are official.
